Tour Description

Travelling to ‘Eilean a' Cheò’, the ‘Isle of the Mists’ - is on many a bucket list - and you won't be disappointed. The Isle of Skye's volcanic landscape is much younger than the rest of Scotland and its dramatic geology tells a story all its own. From the spectacular cliffs of the Quiraing, to the echoing crash of waves at Kilt Rock, every turn reveals a landscape shaped by fire, ice, and time. Wander through the magical Fairy Glen, visit the remote Neist Point, and discover why Skye’s mountains and heather-covered moorland have inspired legends for centuries. You will enjoy two memorable nights on Skye in the pictureque harbour town of Portree. Travel to our favourite hidden corners, or tell us the places you’ve always dreamed of seeing - flexibility is at the heart of every Drummond Scottish Tour. A personalised itinerary will be sent upon booking, and we’ll work closely with you to arrange the route and timing that best suit your needs and interests. Whether you’re seeking iconic viewpoints or local cuisine, you'll return home with stories to remember. Pick‑up is available from your chosen location, with a typical start from Edinburgh at 8:30am. *Please note, accommodation is not included, giving you the flexibility to choose lodgings that suit your style and budget. Our experienced team are happy to provide recommendations. *During the summer months, particularly July and August, Skye experiences very high visitor numbers. We recommend booking this tour - and your accommodation - well in advance of your arrival to avoid disappointment. *Please also note, additional excursions or optional activities may be offered during your tour. Participation in extra excursions is entirely optional and may incur additional costs, which will be clearly communicated at the start of your tour. Extra excursions are subject to availability and may depend on factors such as weather, seasonal access, or local conditions. See our full T&C's for further info.
