1. Introduction
Drummond Scottish Tours is a family‑run company based in the Scottish Borders. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, which are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a safe, enjoyable experience for all our guests.

2. Special Requests

We welcome special requests. Please inform us of any requests at the time of booking so we can do our best to accommodate them.

While we will make every reasonable effort to meet your needs, we cannot guarantee that all requests can be fulfilled.

If you are travelling with an infant or young child, please note that you must bring your own appropriate ISOFIX child or baby seat. Drummond Scottish Tours does not provide child seats.

Any additional costs incurred in meeting special requests will be communicated clearly before confirmation.​

3. Booking & Secure Payment

Bookings can be made directly through our website or by contacting us via email or by telephone. A deposit is paid at the time of booking, with the remaining balance being invoiced immediately and due 30 days before the tour begins. If you book a tour with us within 30 days of the tour departure, we will issue the invoice and payment is required immediately.

Payments are securely processed via Wix Payments or PayPal.

Please note: Drummond Scottish Tours does not arrange accommodation for guests. However, we are happy to provide suggestions for trusted local options if required.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

By you:

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 15–30 days before the tour date will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 15 days before the tour date are non‑refundable.

By us:

In the unlikely event that we must cancel a tour (e.g. due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. Early Departure

If a guest chooses or is required to cut their trip short once a tour has begun, no refunds or partial refunds will be issued.

We will, however, do our best to assist with onward travel arrangements or provide local guidance to help you continue your journey smoothly.

6. Changes to Bookings
We will always do our best to accommodate changes to your booking. However, changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

7. Health, Safety and Accessibility

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are fit to travel.

Please inform us of any medical conditions or mobility issues at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe it may compromise safety.

Accessibility: Drummond Scottish Tours is not a specialised provider of tours for disabled travellers. While we will always do our best to accommodate individual needs and provide assistance where reasonably possible, we cannot guarantee that all tours, vehicles, or locations will be fully accessible. Guests with specific requirements are encouraged to contact us in advance to discuss suitability.

For safety and legal compliance, guests travelling with infants or young children must provide their own appropriate child or baby seat. Drummond Scottish Tours does not supply child seats, and we cannot transport children without the correct seat in place.​

Clients must wear a seatbelt at all times whilst travelling with us.

8. Liability and Travel Insurance

Drummond Scottish Tours accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury to guests or their belongings, except where caused by our negligence.

Guests are advised to arrange suitable travel insurance.

9. Travel Documents & Requirements

Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents.

We cannot be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by missing or invalid documentation.

10. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy. Personal information provided during booking is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations if such failure is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

12. Guest Behaviour Standards

We expect all guests to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards our staff, fellow travellers, and the communities we visit.

Any behaviour that is disruptive, unsafe, offensive, or causes distress to others may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to property or vehicles due to negligent or inappropriate behaviour.

Alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation, but excessive drinking or use of illegal substances will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behaviour we believe may compromise the safety or enjoyment of the tour.

13. Optional Excursions

From time to time, additional excursions or optional activities may be offered during your tour.

Participation in extra excursions is entirely optional and may incur additional costs, which will be clearly communicated before booking.

Extra excursions are subject to availability and may depend on factors such as weather, seasonal access, or local conditions.

Where excursions are provided by third‑party operators, Drummond Scottish Tours accepts no liability for their services, though we will only recommend trusted providers.

14. Luggage Guidelines

Guests are responsible for their own luggage throughout the duration of the tour.

Please ensure that luggage is of a manageable size and weight, as storage space in vehicles may be limited.

We recommend bringing only essential items to ensure comfort and convenience during travel.

Drummond Scottish Tours accepts no liability for loss, damage, or theft of luggage or personal belongings, except where caused by our negligence.

Any luggage left behind at the end of a tour is the responsibility of the guest, though we will assist where reasonably possible in arranging collection or return.

15. Promotional Codes

From time to time, Drummond Scottish Tours may issue promotional codes offering discounts or special offers.

Promotional codes are valid only for the specific period stated at the time of issue and cannot be applied outside those dates.

Codes must be entered at the time of booking; they cannot be applied retrospectively to existing bookings.

Only one promotional code may be used per booking unless otherwise stated.

Promotional codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotional codes at any time without prior notice.

16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
