Tour Description

Dinnae Fash we've got you covered as we follow in the footsteps of Claire and Jamie Fraser, Black Brian, Ellen MacKenzie, and all your favourite characters from the beloved Outlander books and TV series. With so many filming locations set right here in Scotland - and several early season sites closely located - this one‑day tour takes you deep into Outlander lore without ever feeling rushed. Each stop has its own real‑life stories, legends and architectural beauty, making this a memorable day, even for non Outlander fans. Typical itinerary: AM: - 08:00 - Pick up at your chosen location. (Timing based on an Edinburgh departure). - Visit Lallybroch (Midhope Castle) - step into one of the most iconic Outlander locations - the Fraser family home. - Visit Castle Leoch (Doune Castle) - the medieval stronghold, home of Clan Mackenzie. - Arrive at the Royal Burgh town of Linlithgow with its beautiful Loch and majestic ruins of Linlithgow Palace - birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, and used in the TV series as Wentworth Prison. PM: - Visit Blackness Castle, location of the infamous Fort William scenes in the show. - Wander the cobbled streets of Culross, the beautifully preserved 17th century village, that became Cranesmuir. - Visit Falkland village - the stand‑in for 1940s Inverness, with its recognisable square and charm. - 18:00 - Drop off at your accommodation (based on an Edinburgh return). *Please note: All attractions on this tour have seasonal closures, and also the added complexity of occasional filming.
